iHERITAGE AR/VR/MR Web-Based Platform

The iHERITAGE AR/VR/MR web-based platform is a live project that focuses on maintaining and sustaining research, archiving, and data sharing related to cultural sites and assets. Developed by project partner, Associazione Circuito Castelli e Borghi Medievali, this platform ensures the sustainability of public-private partnerships established during the project. It aims to set common standards for cultural heritage data across borders, with a particular focus on UNESCO sites and intangible assets in the Mediterranean region. Through innovative ICT applications, such as guided tours in AR, immersive exhibitions, and advertising campaigns, the platform provides users with immersive experiences. By capitalizing on the latest technologies, iHERITAGE aims to promote access to Mediterranean cultural heritage and foster an innovative ecosystem for the transferability of results. MED4EBM Data Gathering Campaign - Aqaba Diving Associations

This deliverable encompasses a comprehensive study conducted in collaboration with ten partner diving clubs, focusing on diving-related activities and reef check surveys across selected diving sites. The study aims to quantify visitation frequency, map diving loads, and provide daily environmental conditions at the sites. Additionally, it includes detailed Reef Check monitoring and descriptions of diving site attractions, facilities, and environmental stressors. The study's results are presented in this report, with detailed data provided in separate excel files for further analysis.

The new slow tourism products created were enhanced with innovative and creative solutions based on ICT technologies.

MedRiSSE Policy briefs in promoting social innovation led by SSE entities

Oxfam Italy, based on a cross-country analysis, constructed 5 thematic policy briefs targeting key topics in social innovation. These topics were chosen for their relevance to broader public debate and the potential to be leveraged at a country level. The themes include: promoting the role of Social Solidarity Economy (SSE) in developing the green economy in Jordan; pragmatic options for social enterprises to access blended finance mechanisms in Italy; advancing local currencies and removing implementation barriers in Spain; financial support for women-led cooperatives, contributing to women empowerment in Palestine; and enhancing cooperation between higher education, social entrepreneurs, and the SSE sphere in Tunisia’s educational system. The briefs were developed in collaboration with regional focal points and a consultant, validated through a restitution meeting, and disseminated via both offline workshops and online webinars. These briefs offer detailed and specific actions and recommendations for policy makers to effectively promote social innovation.

A strategy model that aims to (1) set up a network for the development of a sustainable tourism model, and (2) implement a networking strategy: informing, involving and coordinating a large number of public/private actors working to enhance sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean Region and beyond.

The MED Sustainable Tourism is an initiative to promote Sustainable tourism in all Mediterranean countries.

Developed as a spin-off of CROSSDEV, MEDUSA, MED GAIMS and MED PEARLS projects, the MED Sustainable Tourism platform gathers guidelines and information about various kinds of sustainable tourism, such as Cultural Tourism, Adventure Tourism, Gamification in Tourism, and Slow Tourism. While being very peculiar in their own traits, they all share the same values, from the caring of environment to the wellbeing of local communities.
