"I came back to Sicily with the desire to find a way to continue living here, with an innovative idea of economy that brings people forward. I'm lucky enough to live on a very large estate with a huge historical garden: it inspired me!"

Paola, Agrifooder, InnovAgroWoMed beneficiary in Italy, returned to Sicily, after years of study and work abroad, with a clear objective: to invest in herself and the territory with a business idea that takes people forward and enhances the environment. Her project is to create a company that produces organic herbal teas in single-use sachets, based on sustainable and ethically correct choices.

CESIE, partner of the project in Italy, collects in the framework of its "rewrite your story" ("Riscrivi la tua storia") campaign some testimonies of the participants in the training and coaching programme of the InnovAgroWoMed project.

Environmental sustainability, women's empowerment and enhancement of the agri-food sector can be the real drivers of development in the Euro-Mediterranean area.

InnovAgroWoMed takes up this challenge and carries out actions aimed at strengthening women’s employment and the ability to do business in the agri-food sector.

Follow AgriFooder on our project facebook page and youtube channel, every Friday, stories of women working in the entrepreneurial field are available, gathered from training courses for aspiring businesswomen and told by professionals in the agri-food sector.
