MENAWARA supports rural communities of Palestine in the challenge of water resources efficiency

The complex political situation in Palestine makes the challenge of water resource efficiency particularly important.

MENAWARA project aims to improve the quality of treated wastewater and increase its use in agriculture thus reducing the pressure on fresh water, increasing income of rural communities in Palestine making them more prosperous and less vulnerable.

WeWorld onlus, Palestinian partner of the project, is targeting Beit Dajan wastewater treatment plant which serves most of the residents (total inhabitants 4,460), through rehabilitation of the treatment technical components, and installation of innovative irrigation trains and networks for reuse of Treated Waste Water.
