"InnovAgroWoMed helped me to complete the needed skills to start my own business.", Francesca, InnovAgroWoMed beneficiary from Italy

"I decided to change my life: my business idea is to produce traditional Sicilian dishes to be preserved in jars and present the stories of the dishes that my grandmother used to prepare when I was a child. That’s because, in Sicily, every recipe has a story and a purpose; it exists to serve a purpose.", Francesca, Agrifooder, InnovAgroWoMed beneficiary in Italy with a clear mission: allow people to get to know traditional Sicilian dishes, thanks to the things she has learnt at ALMA la Scuola Internazionale di Cucina Italiana, established by Gualtiero Marchesi. Those dishes will be accessible to people who don’t know how to cook, combining culinary traditions and healthy eating.

CESIE, partner of the project in Italy, collects in the framework of its "rewrite your story" ("Riscrivi la tua storia") campaign some testimonies of the participants in the training and coaching programme of the InnovAgroWoMed project.

Environmental sustainability, women's empowerment and enhancement of the agri-food sector can be the real drivers of development in the Euro-Mediterranean area.
