To boost the business capacity and visibility of startups, researchers, and innovators in the Dairy Value Chain (DVC), TRANSDAIRY organized an ICT Cross-border Brokerage and matchmaking event in Hammamet in the framework of the Animal Production and Agricultural Products Exhibition (PAMED2022). The event was organized by the Industry and Innovation Promotion Agency (APII) , a Tunisian project partner, from 14 to 17 June 2022.

It was an opportunity for innovators from TRANSDAIRY Living Lab of the Higher School of Engineers of Medjez El Bab (ESIM) to meet potential cooperation partners and make new contacts. Participants met during facilitated face-to-face meetings, where they could explore potential business and technological cooperation opportunities.

Living Lab (Bio/Nano & ICT) of ESIM was presented by two entrepreneurs Dr. Imen Ghram and Dr. Akila Khélifi working respectively on Bio-sensors and Bio-electronics to detect pathogens and antibiotics in the milk

During the four days of the brokerage event, the two researchers met with entrepreneurs, DVC actors, and ICT startups, attend panels on different parts of the DVC main topics, and participated in the matchmaking session.

TRANSDAIRY offered a great opportunity for the two researchers to explore other business opportunities and extend their network through effective B2B matchmaking as well as meetings with financing institutions, business incubators, and business angels
