BERLIN’s Living Lab on Sustainable Energy in Cyprus
BERLIN’s pilot building in Cyprus was transformed into a Living Lab! The FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy (in the process of becoming “Phaethon Centre of Excellence”) transformed their lab building which was used in the pilot exercise of BERLIN project into a living lab where everyone can pay a visit and see how the technologies of BERLIN are used.
BERLIN Project paves the way towards smart and energy-efficient buildings
The installation of photovoltaic systems, converting solar energy into electricity, has grown dramatically. However, the intermittent nature of the electricity produced from these systems, due to their dependence on weather conditions, is putting a growing strain on the electricity grids, which can lead to outages.
Innovation: INTECMED culminates with its Final conference that hosted 100+ attendes in-person and 50+ apperances on the newspapers
This event held from the 17th to the 19th of October, was organised by ASCAME (Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce) in Barcelona and resulted in a big success due to its three pillars:
