Recommendations for addressing marine litter in the Mediterranean

This document provides a comprehensive over- view of the issue of marine litter in the Mediterranean Sea, identifies contributing factors, and presents a set of main recommendations. Eachmain recommendation is further elaborated with detailed strategies for implementation, offering a practical guide for addressing the challenges posed by marine litter in the region.

Co-Evolve4BG – Toolkit and user guide

In the frame of Co-Evolve4BG project, a toolkit was designed to assist coastal/maritime tourism managers in monitoring tourism activities at a given Destination in the Mediterranean. It was also designed to help them identify which best practices may be implemented.

Mediterranean Biodiversity Protection tools catalogue in Arabic

In the framework of the Project PANACeA, the MED Biodiversity Protection Community built the present Catalogue of tools for biodiversity protection in Mediterranean MPAs, covering different needs and requirements for ecosystem-based management. This Catalogue is an update and extension of a previous report developed in the context of PANACeA, which included a preliminary version of some of the tools for ecosystem-based management in the Mediterranean, being developed by the Biodiversity Protection Community projects during the year 2018.
The tools included in this version of the Catalogue updated in 2022 are classified into several types: monitoring tools; management tools; geospatial tools; financial tools and other tools.
The tools catalogue is available in Arabic, English, French and Spanish.

Effective conservation of coastal habitats across the Mediterranean

A previous study within the ENSERES project showed that whereas PAs proved to be an effective tool to reduce land development along Mediterranean coastal areas, the ICZM Protocol had had no effect in doing so. This study aims to delve into those results by ascertaining the views of a range of relevant national and regional stakeholders on the

Strategy and Action Plan for Sustainable Fisheries Management within and around Kneiss Islands Nature Reserve and SPAMI, Tunisia

The study, entitled "Development of a strategy and action plan for the sustainable management of fisheries in and around the Kneiss Islands nature reserve and SPAMI area in Tunisia", is part of the ENSERES (ENhancing Socio-Ecological RESilience in Mediterranean coastal areas) project.
This study involves the main players in the fisheries sector, namely the administration, fishermen's unions, civil society and self-employed fishermen. By adopting a participatory approach to drawing up the strategy, the aim is to involve all the stakeholders in the decision-making process, thereby ensuring the continuity of actions beyond the end of the project.

Synthesis of the results and lessons learnt of the ENSERES transfer activities

This report aims to document best practices and lessons learned from the implemented activities in the pilot territories, providing recommendations for further implementation and replication in other territories.
The transferring and up-scaling activities covered by the present report include compiling transferable tools into a multilingual toolkit, conducting training sessions on selected tools, implementing mentoring programmes in the pilot sites using appropriate tools, executing pilot actions by providing subgrants to civil society organizations and social and solidarity economy organizations, and improving marine protected areas management through the implementation of the twinning programme among the Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance.

OENOMED : Réglement d'usage de la marque collective Reservin

Le réglement d'usage est un document qui explique et aide à savoir les conditions d'usage et de communication de la marque collective Reservin. Il contient aussi les conditions nécessaires pour l’obtention de la marque Reservin par les MPME bénéficiaires.
Il met en place toutes les étapes et les livrables nécessaires pour assurer la traçabilité du produit depuis le viticulteur et met au clair les avantages accompagnant la marque collective Reservin pour les MPME qui sont :
- La marque avec ses signes distinctifs et les conditions d’application de ces derniers
- La stratégie Marketing de la marque Reservin
- Le site Web pour assurer la visibilité et la mise en relation des bénéficiaires avec les réseaux BtoB (Reservin.wine)
