Call for sub-grants to enhance socio-ecological resilience by ENI CBC MED project ENSERES

The overall objective of this second call for sub-grant proposals is to involve local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the management and sustainable development in and around Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance (SPAMI), through the implementation of on-field activities, to ensure a more effective SPAMI management. The subgrants will be granted to Civil Society Organizations (CSO) in Tyre (Lebanon) area, represented in the project by the partners Tyre Coast Nature Reserve.

Around 2 sub-grants worth each a maximum of €10,000 are planned to be funded for activities in the SPAMI Tyre Coast Nature Reserve and surrounding areas. The two (2) sub-grants are intended to involve local CSOs from Tyre City in the sustainable development of socio-economic activities and ICZM in the above-mentioned coastal zones, including the area of the SPAMI.

The ENSERES project is co-funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020. ENSERES has a duration of 24 months, with a total budget of 1.1 M €, of which 1M € (90%) are funded by the European Union.
