The CLUSTER project, through its Jordanian partners Business Development Center (BDC) and the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) recently celebrated the completion of two comprehensive training programs in Jordan. The first program, a one-week intensive on "Hydroponics and Aquaponics" took place in Tafileh in July 2023. The second program, a two-week endeavor on "Hydroponics and Employment Soft Skills" occurred in Balqa from September to October 2023.

The "Hydroponics and Aquaponics" training in Tafileh was a journey of exploration, where 19 participants dove into the world of hydroponics and aquaponics. This endeavor not only provided valuable knowledge and practical skills in sustainable farming but also encouraged community engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Participants were divided into groups, tasked with identifying community needs and designing initiatives to address them, fostering collaboration among young leaders.

The "Hydroponics and Employment Soft Skills" program in Balqa aimed to equip 45 participants with both hydroponic knowledge and essential employment skills. The first week focused on hydroponics, while the second week delved into employment soft skills.

CLUSTER expressed its appreciation for the trainers, mentors, and support staff whose dedication was instrumental in making these training programs a success. The acquired knowledge and skills are expected to have a lasting impact on participants' lives and careers, contributing not only to the fields of hydroponics but also to community development and sustainable initiatives.
