CLUSTER to reinforce labour market skills of young people and women in the Mediterranean

On 14 June 2022, CLUSTER consortium held a meeting in order to kick off its activities of capacity building in labour market skills for young unemployed people, especially women.

During the meeting, the organisation of 7 regional focus groups was discussed, each one gathering Social Economy Actors from the private sector, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, education providers and public authorities working in four sustainable economy sectors: Aquaponics, Hydroponics, Food Processing and Organic Farming

Through the focus groups, CLUSTER will gather the feedback of practitioners on the draft of a trainee-oriented Catalogue of new curricula, whose goal is to increase the employability of young people and women through training activities. The outcomes of the focus groups will be discussed in July at the Cross-border Workshop, to be held in Amman, Jordan.

The consortium also debated the training scheme that will be developed to transfer the new curricula materials to young unemployed people and women, through on-site training courses, and online one through an e-platform.
