Co-Evolve4BG organizes event on diversification of coastal and maritime tourism in Djerba, Tunisia

The National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies of Tunisia (INSTM) organises an info-day and a workshop in Djerba, Tunisia, where a project pilot is going to be carried out.

The main goal is to present the objectives and activities of Co-Evolve4BG project and what will be developed and improved at the local level in specific pilot area of Djerba, which aims to achieve a sustainable development of coastal/maritime tourism in Djerba, through diversifying the coastal/ maritime tourism products (e.g. recreational boating marinas).

Co-Evolve4BG project aims at analyzing and promoting the development of human activities and natural systems in the coastal tourist areas, in order to achieve sustainable development goals within the tourism activities, based on Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) and Marine Spatial Planning (MSP), and to promote Blue Growth in the Mediterranean.
