EU-funded TECHLOG project launches the cross-border Eastern Living Lab to support the transfer of innovative solutions for advanced (trans)port training

The chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, a project partner, organizes and hosts the Eastern Living Lab launch event with regard to the technological transfer for logistics innovation in the Mediterranean area as part of the 3rd TECHLOG Steering Committee meetings, which will be held in Beirut, Lebanon, on October 18 and 19, 2022.

The consortium members from Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Egypt, and Lebanon will attend the meetings for the TECHLOG project along with the EU delegation in Lebanon, the Ministry of Works and Transport, and important Lebanese players from ports, logistics, innovation laboratories, and academic institutions.

The event will be drawn to a close with the signing of two collaboration agreements in innovation and training between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport and the Egyptian Global Logistics and Ship and C.R.E.W.

The Steering Committee meeting will be a chance to officially inaugurate the TECHLOG trucks simulators lab at the Beirut Chamber headquarters in front of the other project partners. Over the course of the two days, the consortium meetings will resume in order to assess and evaluate the progress of the project activities as well as the upcoming activities including the digital platform and features of the TECHLOG living labs.
