GIMED: Financial Literacy and New Business Models to Boost Women Entrepreneurship Possibilities

The Meet&Map Association invited GIMED to the ‘Financial Literacy and New Business Models to Boost Women Entrepreneurship Possibilities’ (FIT) event. The event, which also takes the name of the FIT project, is focused on building up a network to help entrepreneurs to create or reimagine their project/start-up with circular economy values.

The FIT event is financed by the EU in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme and it’s formed by 6 countries, from which 5 will be present with the aim of sharing experiencies and creating sinergies among organizations. The event will be held on the 9th of February at the Cafè de Mar Building, located in Mataró (Barcelona). From 10.00am to 13.00pm, representatives from different international organisations will join to explain how to structure a circular economy model together with a sustainable and financial plan.

Andrea Ruzo, Project Manager from GIMED at the Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP/RAC), leading partner of the project, will take part to share with the participants the experience of the center in boosting green entrepreneurship and to introduce TheSwitchers.org platform, a free-to-use tool under which entrepreneurs all across the Mediterranean are being trained and coached.
