The Region of Peloponnese, GreenBuilding Lead Beneficiary, completed the activities and works for the renovation of the regional building.

The installation of the photovoltaics in the rooftop of the building of the Regional Unit of Lakonia, with total Installed Power 99.64 kW is estimated to:

Produce more than 150.000 kWh /year

Avoid 130 tons of CO₂ emissions!

The region worked to replace the lighting units inside the building with energy-saving LEDs.

In total, 1408 lamps were replaced with an energy saving of at least 50%!

The energy management system will allow:

• The rational management and energy saving
• The comfort for the users of the building (thermal comfort, work comfort, etc.)
• The management of lights and alliances.
• The monitoring and automatic control of electromechanical installations.
