On March 14-16, 2023, representatives from the Greater Irbid Municipality, Jordanian partner of the GreenBuilding project, participated in the Arab Forum of Sustainable Development in Beirut, Lebanon. 

The event was organized by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and brought together Arab Governments and sustainable development stakeholders to discuss progress, review national and regional experiences and consider the latest developments and implementation mechanisms of the 2030 Agenda at the national and regional levels. 

In this Forum, Eng. Reham Jammal presented the “Inclusive climate adaptation and mitigation of human settlements in the Arab region” and Eng.  Leila Youssef presented the “Fostering COVID-19 recovery and SDG Implementation through Local Action in Asia-Pacific, Arab and African countries”, with references to the GreenBuilding project.
