Do you know the training opportunities promoted by the HELIOS project?

The world is changing and HELIOS project believes in the new opportunities offered by this change, that is a means to create social inclusion of NEETs (Not engaged in Education, Employment or Training) and unemployment women, in the Mediterranean basin. 

The climate change, the environment pollution, the tons of wastes produced every day are revolutionizing the world economy and are orienting it toward sustainable and green models capable to ensure a permanent development.

However, this green economic transaction requires new skills to reorient traditional business models and entire sectors through a modern and sustainable approach respectful of the environment.

For this reason, HELIOS is organizing training courses tailored for NEETs and women, oriented towards specific needs of the Blue and Circular Economy labour market in the Mediterranean context.

Who will be able to participate? 

NEETs (Not engaged in Education, Employment or Training) up to 30 years old and unemployment women without age limits based in Sicily (Italy), Spain, Greece, Tunisia, Palestine and Jordan.

How will the courses be structured?

HELIOS will launch six editions of the training courses in each project countries.

The HELIOS course programme will provide 80 hours of training with the aim to strengthen the employability of young people with the green skills necessary to work in the future labour market.Based on this, the course modules will be:

•    Blue Economy
•    Circular Economy
•    Entrepreneurship 
•    Soft Skills
•    Coaching (session one to one) 

The materials of the course modules will be updated on the HELIOS portal, a platform created to support the online training.
