iHERITAGE was presented in the Italian Pavilion of EXPO 2020 DUBAI on January 9th and 10th, 2022, with a focus on the project's new immersive technologies (augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality) that will allow visitors to experience the tangible and intangible UNESCO cultural heritage of the Mediterranean countries (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Spain, Portugal, and Italy) in an innovative way.

Manlio Messina, Regional Assessor of Tourism, attended the conference, as did the project managers for the Sicilian Region, Rosalia Giambrone and Daniele Licciardello, Lucio Tambuzzo, the project's creator and executive director of the Network of Castles and Medieval Towns, and Professor Rossella Corrao, project coordinator for the University of Palermo - Department of Architecture.
