"I sincerely hope that everyone understands the importance of working together, men and women, in all roles: I think it is one of those things that should not be questioned. I can testify to this: any self-respecting company that defines itself as interesting, innovative, intelligent and sensitive cannot manage without women.", Massimiliano Solano, member of the Valdibella cooperative, shares with us his testimony on the role of women in the agri-food sector. 

Valdibella is an organic farmers' cooperative in Camporeale with a sustainable project within which all resources, both human and natural, find their fulfilment. 

Environmental sustainability, women's empowerment and valorisation of the agri-food sector can be the real engines of development in the Euro-Mediterranean area. 

Innovagrowomed, the EU financed project under the ENI CBC Med Programme takes up this challenge and carries out actions aimed at strengthening women's employment and enterprise capacity in the agri-food sector.
