Tunisia: Taysir Conseil joins the InnovAgroMed stakeholders network

The Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR), executive partner of the InnovAgroWoMed project signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Taysir Conseil to collaborate jointly in the promotion and implementation of activities related to the project.

This Memorandum of Understanding has several strategic and technical objectives, including the exchange of data, expertise and experience on rural women's empowerment and the identification of opportunities for synergy; technical and logistical support for the implementation of the project's training program as well as communication and awareness raising activities.

Taysir Conseil is a Tunisian non-profit association created in March 2013 whose mission is to understand and estimate the needs in terms of support for women and youth in disadvantaged regions in particular; Provide non-financial services, support, training and advice to people wishing to create or develop their economic activities especially in the Regional Development Zones; and establish partnerships with private operators and national and international development associations in order to expand the offer of support to small economic actors and to develop joint actions to optimize and promote their activity; which corresponds perfectly to the values and objectives of the InnovAgroWoMed project, which will be implemented in Tunisia in the regions of Beja and Medenine.

The signature of the Memorandum of Understanding was held at the CAWTAR-Tunisia office in presence of the representatives of the two partners and this collaboration will last until the ending of the InnovAgroWoMed project in December 2022.
