INTECMED presents its tools for innovators at the Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders

“INTECMED Meeting: Incubators for innovation and technological transfer in the Mediterranean” is the first interplay organised by the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce (ASCAME), which will take place in the frame of its annual flagship event: The Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders (MedaWeek Barcelona) on Wednesday, 17^th of November from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm CET.

The event aspires to connect with other key team players in the Mediterranean region in order to maximize the project's impact and outreach. More in-depth, it aims to present the INTECMED project: mission, objectives and road map. Further on, we will discover the state of the art of innovation ecosystem in each of the Mediterranean regions that are part of the project, Andalusia (Spain), Cap Bon (Tunisia), Western Greece (Greece) and Alexandria (Egypt). The event will also serve as a platform to explain more in detail the recently launched Mentorship programme and the Call for Ideas, and how to create a successful application for the subgrants. At the end of the session, we will also enjoy a demo session of the e-bazzar platform, which intends to be the meeting point for investors and innovators across the Mediterranean region.

There couldn’t foresee a better place to dive into INTECMED’s next steps and results than MedaWeek Barcelona, which will take place from the 17th-19th of November 2021 in an online format (check the agenda here). MedaWeek Barcelona is nowadays the most iconic conference dedicated to promoting the Mediterranean region worldwide. This event endorses the key economic sectors and the cultural values of this region through a wide variety of forums. INTECMED expects to build meaningful connections with the attendees: civil society, businesses, corporations, governments and multilateral organizations, that have in common the love for the economic prosperity of the Mediterranean.
