THE REGION OF CENTRAL MACEDONIA TRANSFORMS THE FUTURE OF WORK

On March 28 and 29, 2023, the Region of Central Macedonia (RCM) will organize the "INTERNISA Job Fair," a top recruitment event.

It is organized within the framework of the INTERNISA Project, co-financed by ENI CBC Med 2014-2020, and will be hosted at the Digital Transformation and Digital Skills Center (DT&S) – Cisco, in Thessaloniki.

It aims to increase employment opportunities in the fields of technology, agro-technology-agri-food, tourism, and trade, to strengthen the position of women who acquire digital skills in the workforce, to close the gender digital gap and to ensure a fair and sustainable economic and social development for  the Region of Central Macedonia.

It will be an opportunity for networking between companies and candidates.

More specifically, it will:

ü  raise awareness regarding the initiatives taken by RCM for the empowerment and digital enhancement of women,

ü  offer jobs and connect businesses with candidates,

ü  ensure access to newcomers in the industry, both in technology and support positions,

ü  promote the development of a high-performance digital education ecosystem and support reskilling initiatives from other sectors,

ü  support the equal participation of women in digital studies and careers,

ü  inform young women about the importance of digital literacy and acquiring digital skills.

The event consists of lectures and workshops. Acclaimed speakers, state officials, and representatives of institutions, companies, and organizations will present critical developments focusing on how new technologies influence, shape, and transform "tomorrow" at a national and European level. In addition, trained professionals, career advisors, liaison office managers and business executives will deliver workshops.

The job fair is open to the public. Pre-registration for the workshops is demanded. Due to a limited number of spaces, a priority list will be held.

Wednesday, March the 29th, 2023 | 09:30-20:00

The INTERNISA project, the duration of which is 30 months, is implemented in collaboration with "Al-Balqa Applied University" in Jordan, the "Catalan Youth Agency" and the "Andalusian Federation of Towns and Provinces" in Spain, "ActionAid" in Greece and Palestine, "SQLI Services" in Tunisia, "Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon" in Lebanon and "Arrezzo Innovazione" in Italy.
