The manager of INTERNISA at Al Balqa Applied University, the Jordanian partner of INTERNISA, visited the Tourism Directorate in Al-Balqa Governorate on 25/3/2022. This visit is part of the INTERNISA communication plan with the local community across the country. It aims to strengthen the relationships between the project and the local community and touch on the needs of Jordanian women in the tourism sector in the Al-Balqa region. Providing digital training will help women upgrade their skills so that they are able to compete in the labour market.

Dr Mahmoud  Arabiat,  the Tourism Director stressed the importance of the INTERNISA project, which contributes to building the capacities of women in Al Balqa Governorate, which city As-Salt  has recently been included in the World Heritage Sites List as the place of Tolerance and Urban hospitality.
