The Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation, lead beneficiary of IPMED, continues the series of discussion sessions within the IPMED Project's activities, to review the policy and obstacles faced by women entrepreneurs in Jordan, during a meeting held on Wednesday 2nd of March 2022.

Lack of Intellectual Properties Rights (IPR) awareness, insufficient access to finance and insufficient specialised training in IPR are among the obstacles most commonly experienced by women entrepreneurs in Jordan.

According to Reem Muhaisen, an entrepreneur, “there is a necessity to better understand what barriers women entrepreneurs face in running their own business and protecting it”.
