On 8th April 2022, an hybrid meeting, was held in the headquarters of Lazio Region in Italy to present the final event of MISTRAL project. 

About 85 representatives of cooperating programmes and projects, national clusters, public administrations, research organizations and citizen associations took part in this interesting event to discuss about the achievements, challenges and opportunities of projects and initiatives implemented and ongoing in the field of Blue Growth at Mediterranean level. 

In the frame of Interreg MED Programme, the MISTRAL project has contributed to promoting and implementing transnational Blue Growth ecosystem of innovation with the joint effort of Research and Technology Organizations, Public Bodies and Clusters.

The Regional  Tourism Agency of Lazio Region took part in the brainstorming slot with the Blue Economy Community in the Mediterranean area with the presentation of Co-Evolve4BG main achievements and ongoing activities for the development of sustainable coastal and maritime tourism at Mediterranean and local level fully exploiting the Blue Economy potential through the promotion of business and job opportunities in the field of eco-system oriented services, maritime and coastal tourism, coastal management and adaptation to climate change.

Many different experiences and ideas were exchanged by the numerous speakers active in this successful event in order to create synergies and cooperation among partners and stakeholders of the Blue Economy for the promotion of sustainable growth in the marine and maritime sectors.
