The Chamber of Commerce of Maremma and Tirreno, TECHLOG representative in Italy, is partner of the 'Master in Smart and Sustainable Operations in Maritime and Port Logistics', in collaboration with the University of Pisa, the Port System Authority of the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea and Federmanager. The objective of this Master, unique in the Italian panorama, is to provide participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to consciously face the challenges of the Maritime-Port sector and to seize the opportunities for innovation that 4.0 technologies offer to the industrial system.

At the end of the classroom course, the Master includes a 500-hour in-company internship that will allow participants to confront practical cases in the maritime, logistics and port context and to apply the newly acquired knowledge. In order to favour the connection between the trainees and the enterprises, the Chamber of Commerce of Maremma and Tirreno has opened a call for tenders that intends to assign a 'voucher' (up to a maximum of 2,500.00 €) to enterprises in the logistics and port sector that will host Master's participants. Companies will have until 14 December 2023 to submit their applications.

With this initiative, the Chamber of Commerce of Maremma and Tirreno strengthens its commitment in the logistics and port sector, an area that is very important from an economic point of view for the territory for which the Chamber is responsible.

The objectives of the TECHLOG project are closely aligned with those of the "Master in Smart and Sustainable Operations in Maritime and Port Logistics," which will give participants the knowledge and abilities they need to contribute to the growth of a more efficient and sustainable logistics and port sector. The Maremma and Tirreno Chamber of Commerce is actively supporting the TECHLOG project's objective of creating a more sustainable and effective logistics and port sector in the Mediterranean through this initiative.
