Jordan: NAWAMED will participate in WaSec project final conference to foster the adoption of non-conventional water practices
NAWAMED will be presented during the WaSec project final conference organized by Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in cooperation with the partners of WaSec project during the period from 27th-28th of July 2022 in Holiday-Inn- Dead Sea, Jordan.
WaSec (Innovations in Water Education: Enhancing Water Security and Socio-economic Development in the Eastern Mediterranean under Climate Change) is an Erasmus+ project that aims to teach new technologies and methods to students that will incorporate them in water resources management plans and that eventually will be adopted in the water relevant organizations and businesses.
The conference will be attended by high-ranking levels such as President of Palestine Technical University Kadoorie (PTUK), President of Al-Quds University (AQU), in addition to participants and experts representing different public and private universities and institutions.
Presentations related to the water and Nature-Based Solutions will be provided by experts in the fields of climate change and water management from Palestine, Jordan, and Europe.
Prof. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh, WaSec and NAWAMED project coordinator at University of Jordan, will deliver a presentation on “Nature Based Solutions for Domestic Water Reuse” to increase the adoption of non-conventional water practices.
