The Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation has signed on the 13th of October 2022 a tri-party agreement with the Municipality of Jdeideh El Shouf and the external entity called "EEG".

This Agreement is concluded in relation to the implementation of the SEACAP 4 SDG project: Support SE(A)CAP mechanisms through selected reference projects (SRP) key outcomes (toolkit).

SEACAP 4 SDG addresses this common challenge by integrating Sustainable Energy Access and Climate Action Plans (SEACAP) via a uniform adapted assessment Toolkit and an innovative financing methodology, variant of European City Facility (EUCF), which will support selected cities in implementing tools and methods from the 16 selected reference projects (SRP).

The Municipality Of Jdeideh El Shouf was selected to benefit from this technical assistance on SEACAP developments.

EEG was selected as external entity based on a request for proposal launched on the 1st of July 2022.

The external entity assist the Municipality to use the Toolkit in their day-to-day work to a specific purpose: improve their SEACAP or energy-mix efficiency plan. Thus, the external entity will analyse, jointly with the selected Municipality representative, which outcome to apply for that purpose.
