Palestine Polytechnic University, the fifth partner of MED-QUAD project, which is co-funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC-MED Programme, organizes the MED-QUAD Conference & Exhibition in Palestine: Civic University's Role in Community Development through vital Living Labs.

The events will take place in Hebron, Palestine, at Palestine Polytechnic University's Wadi-Alhariah Campus, Building B, 1st Floor, on October 22nd-23rd, 2023. (Local Time: 09:30 -16:30)

The events will emphasize the sharing of results and outcomes among partners, encompassing the examination of partner case studies and the knowledge acquired regarding the role of Civic Universities in local and Mediterranean regional development. The scientific expertise and experience of each university team will be highlighted and exchanged to foster cross-border collaboration based on the Quadruple Helix Approach.

Researchers from both living labs (Smart Water Use Applications - SWUAP and Applied Research for Cultural Heritage Exploitation - ARCHEO) will engage in discussions, knowledge sharing, and result-sharing. The primary focus will be on assessing the effectiveness of project strategies in delivering beneficial solutions to the addressed issues.

The events will also be attended by MED-QUAD project partners from Palestine and abroad, as well as key players in the Quadruple Helix Approach, including representatives from universities, businesses, local government, and society.
