MED-QUAD in Jordan organises a meeting focused on culture and water conservation

Al- Balqa' Applied University, the Jordanian partner from the MEDiterranean QUadruple helix Approach to Digitalisation (MED-QUAD) project, is organizing a two-day cross-border event on the 21st and 22nd of June 2023 at the at Al-Huson University College-Irbid, Jordan (09:00 am to 13:00 pm GMT+3).

The event is focused on "Forging a Sustainable Future for the Mediterranean: The MED-QUAD Project's Emphasis on the Contributions of Civic Universities towards Culture and Water Conservation." The event will feature several pilot activities for technological transfer and commercialization of research results. The activities will focus on optimizing water usage, consumption, and reduction using ICT technologies and Key Enabling Technologies. Additionally, the event will promote cultural heritage preservation and promotion through applied research.

The cross-border event in Jordan is an important step towards achieving the MED-QUAD project’ goals. It will bring together stakeholders from across the region to collaborate on research, share best practices, and work towards a more sustainable future for the Mediterranean.

Representatives of the partners will have the opportunity to attend in person the event that will take place in Irbid (Jordan); however, the public from Jordan and abroad can also participate online via Facebook. Those who are interested can download the agenda and register by contacting:
