MED-QUAD in Palestine organizes an event on the Civic University's role

Palestine Polytechnic University, Palestinian partner of MED-QUAD project, organizes the Cross-Border Meeting under the title: MED-QUAD in Palestine organizes a Cross-Border Knowledge Exchange on the Civic University's Role in Local and Mediterranean Community Development. The event will take place in Hebron, Palestine, at Palestine Polytechnic University's Wadi-Alhariah Campus, Building B, 1st Floor, on October 22nd-23rd, 2023. (Local Time: 09:00 -13:15)

The meeting will focus on the results and outcomes exchange between partners, which will cover partners study cases and know-how gained on the Civic University role in local and Mediterranean region development. Scientific knowledge and experience of each university team will be emphasized and exchanged to enhance cross-border cooperation based on the Quadruple Helix Approach.

Researchers from both living labs (Smart Water Use Applications - SWUAP and Applied Research for Cultural Heritage Exploitation - ARCHEO) will exchange ideas, know-how and results. The focus will be on the effectiveness of the project strategies to provide beneficial solutions to the addressed problems.

The participants will also discuss the prospect of continuing cross-border cooperation in scientific research after the project ends. The discussion aims to further extending the joint research work to achieve the project's long- term objective. Among the seminar activities, participants will visit the related sites to the function of SWUAP and ARCHEO labs.

Presentations will cover partners study cases and know-how gained on the Civic University role in local and regional development. The meeting will be attended by representatives of the project partners with a physical and online presence:
