Within the MED-QUAD project, a training activity was conducted by the ARCHEO Lab team in Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU), in collaboration with the civil engineering department of the university. The aim of the event was to enhance the skills, capacities, and competencies of staff from universities and firms targeted by the project.

The event focused on the role of the university and emphasized the importance of scientific knowledge and experience in enhancing cooperation and developing its operation as a civic institution. The PPU scientific team of the MED-QUAD project provided a preliminary introduction about the Applied Research for Cultural Heritage Exploitation - ARCHEO Living Lab. The presentations and on-site training focused on transferring knowledge and know-how to the participants, with the aim of developing the civic university role and providing beneficial solutions to the problems facing the tourism sector and cultural heritage exploitation.

During the event, participants were allowed to discuss the aims of MED-QUAD activities and the experiences that the project partners were sharing with the Palestinian team. The discussion aimed to produce a joint framework of cooperation to achieve the project's general objective. Participants discussed the prospect of cooperation in relevant scientific research and lab activities.
