Med4Waste in Tunisia is looking to hire an external auditor

  Context and project:

Med4Waste (Mediterranean Dialogue for Waste Management Governance) is an EU-funded project, under the ENI-CBC Med Programme, to facilitate new governance models for integrated & efficient urban waste management (WM) policies across the Mediterranean, with particular emphasis on organic waste & circular economy (CE).

Overarching Objective - B - Address common challenges in the environment

Thematic Objective - B.4 - Environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation (Address common challenges in the environment)

Programme Priority - B.4.2 - Reduce municipal waste generation and promote the source-separated collection and the optimal exploitation of its organic component

Project Budget:   1.110.655,24 €

Duration: 24 Months

Purpose of the tenderer's mission

The Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises (BUSINESSMED), a partner in the Med4Waste project is looking for an external auditor to take charge of the validation and certification of the expenses incurred by BUSINESSMED within the framework of the project.

 

Qualifications of the Service Provider

This notice is addressed to private external auditors members of the Board of Auditors of Tunisia (Ordre des Experts Comptables de Tunisie (OECT)) meeting the criteria cited in the terms of reference (Fr), in order to submit the verification of expenditure reports to BUSINESSMED in accordance with the procedure described in the audit file "Annexes 4.1 Reporting".
