On Monday 20th of February 2023, the An-Najah National University (ANNU) organised a new webinar to harvest learnings and knowledge as one of the activities of the MedRiSSE project. The main purpose of the webinar was to present the new features and of the Widened Community of Practice (WCoP) and show how registered members can interact within it. The WCoP is a digital platform that intends to connect actors, institutions and social innovators that are active in the social and solidarity economy ecosystem and work for the promotion of sustainable inclusive development policies in collaboration with the public sector.

The Widened Community of Practice is an open platform where participants can benefit from mutual learning and policy advocacy on the co-production of social services and social innovation in the public sector with the collaboration of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) entities. It is linked with the MedRiSSE Wiki, a collaborative database of sharing knowledge and good practices gained from the experience of the 5 EU funded Mediterranean cooperation projects  (MedTOWN, MoreThanAJob, RUWOMED, IESS and MedUP!by the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI).

The MedRiSSE partnership invited all the interested parties to register and become part of the Widened Community of Practice to learn and exchange best practices on the co-production of social services and the development of a sustainable Social and Solidarity Economy ecosystem in the Mediterranean Basin.
