The event was held in Al-Qaa as well as a tour of Ras Baalbek and the most prominent tourist attractions in Ras Baalbek and Al-Qaa, in addition to a visit to the guest house that was habilitated by the Rene Moawad Foundation through the MEDUSA sub-grant in order to promote adventure tourism.

The Executive Director of the Rene Moawad Foundation, Michel Moawad, stressed in his speech that returning to the land and turning the relationship into a productive one is necessary for the development of the region and the development of local economies. Such projects build bridges and allow the Lebanese people to get to know each other, their regions, and the diversity of this country, which is a source of wealth and development, not of hatred, fanaticism, and rejection of the other.

In her speech, MEDUSA Project Manager at the Rene Moawad Foundation, Lutecia Beainy said that the Foundation through the MEDUSA project has awarded sub-grants to 5 Adventure Tourism initiatives in Lebanon, and Boukaat Loubnan Trail is seeing the light despite all the challenges of the Lebanese context.
