In this issue of "NEX-LABS; behind the scenes" we have interviewed Ms Tiziana Lombardo, Senior Project Manager at Net7 and dissemination manager of the NEX-LABS project

Tiziana, tell us more about Net7

Net7 is an IT SME developing software for the web and for mobile solutions (dynamic websites and portals, distributed applications, e-learning and e-commerce platforms, apps).

Net7's services include IT consulting, analysis and software development, graphic and user interface design. From its inception, the company has stood out because of its commitment to the use of Open Source software and our strong interest in the research domain, in particular the Semantic Web. We also work in the field of digital communication with particular focus on the design of user experiences that make the interaction as satisfactory as possible bringing together expertise in graphic design, web design, web and social communication strategies. 

What is your role  at Net7?

As Senior Project Manager I am in charge of managing web communication projects, EU and National funded projects and I am business developer of the Digital Humanities division.

What is your background and how does that background contribute to NEX-LABS?

I am a Project Management and Business Development Senior Expert with over 15 years of experience in managing ICT and innovation projects in the public and private sector. My interests include EU policy development in ICT domain and digital transformation in societal issues.

What is your role in the NEX-LABS project?

I am the dissemination manager of the NEX-LABS project. Together with my team we design and implement strategies to maximize the impact of the project results. 

What are your expectations in the NEX-LABS project? 

The NEX-LABS project has the strong potential of impacting the Mediterranean community by bringing WEF-NEXUS innovation into practice.  The creation of the 2 Nexus Driven Open Living Labs will pave the way for a Mediterranean open innovation ecosystem development.

And what do you do when you are not busy in disseminating the NEX-LABS project?

I am passionate about traveling and meeting new people. When I am at home I like to read, hike, play with my daughter…I have always a new yoga pose to challenge and a new knitting project in my pipeline!
