"After the InnovAgroWoMed course, I began a new path. I even started working again after a while: I felt I was in the right place and on the right track.

Thanks to the INNOMED-UP project funded under ENI CBC Med Programme, in collaboration with the Caritas Foundation and high school 'ITS Buzzi', 10 Smart Bins have been installed in the Italian city of Prato for the collection of textile waste (fabrics, jeans, shoes, pillow cases) and objects. The containers, designed by the Technical University of Athens, using a sensor system, software and a connection to the network, notify the person in charge of the collection by sending an email, informing him of the status of the same container on the amount of material donated.

The CROSSDEV project is proud to announce the release of www.hiddenmediterranean.net, a brand-new platform designed to inform travelers and tour operators about the project’s five destinations: Jabal Moussa Biospehere Reserve in Lebanon; Aqaba and Umm Qais in Jordan; Palestinian Heritage Trail in Palestine; and the Via Selinuntina in Italy.

The link between the CROSSDEV's destinations and the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe is strengthening.

The Port of Barcelona has always invested in educational and training initiatives within its community to ensure that its people are trained in modern trends and developments of the industry. The Escola Europea – Intermodal Transport (lead partner of the YEP MED project) started out as a project of the Customer Service Department (SAC) of the port authority in 2004.

Over 100 people for three intense days of work, discussion, planning.  At the centre, the telling of existing good practices on the theme of water management and reuse, both at urban and rural level, in the Mediterranean area. Been presented by numerous institutional and research bodies from all the Mediterranean countries, involving dozens of European projects, in order to accompany the transition towards the application and scalability of the proposed solutions.

The EU co-financed project TECHLOG launches the Eastern Living Lab in Beirut in presence of partners and representatives from academia and trans(port) industry.
