MENAWARA supports rural communities of Palestine in the challenge of water resources efficiency

The complex political situation in Palestine makes the challenge of water resource efficiency particularly important.

MENAWARA project aims to improve the quality of treated wastewater and increase its use in agriculture thus reducing the pressure on fresh water, increasing income of rural communities in Palestine making them more prosperous and less vulnerable.

The Med Pearls project, funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC Med Programme, has the goal to set up a network of 26 Slow Tourism products across 6 Med countries (Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Palestine and Spain). These products will share similar characteristics, follow the Slow Tourism spirit and offer equivalent and fully adapted experiences in the different countries.
