Lebanon: YEP MED gathered actors of port and logistics to design new training programs for youth
The Beirut Chamber, a partner of the YEP MED project, conducted a skills gap survey focusing on the Lebanese port and logistics sector to identify the most needed profiles, in order to help it design new and relevant training courses targeting unemployed Lebanese young men and women, and thus to further their access to the local logistics job market. The Chamber shared the survey results with the Lebanese working group members – which highlighted a significant market demand for agents in international trade and logistics operations.
