MedTOWN project takes part in the Spanish State Meeting of Local, Social and Complementary Currencies
The 9th edition of the Spanish State Meeting of Local, Social and Complementary Currencies, entitled "Local values in times of crisis", was hosted (virtually as usual in these times) by the municipality of Viladecans (Barcelona) on 27 & 28 October 2020, and included the participation of our lead beneficiary, Assembly of Cooperation for Peace (ACPP) and partners & collaborators of our project.

Desertification Research Centre - University of Sassari, Italian lead beneficiary of the MENAWARA project, is looking for an expert on the design, installation and maintenance of the Moodle platform of the project.

MedArtSal project issues call for sub-grants to support salinas owners or managers in Spain, Italy, Tunisia and Lebanon
Salinas across the Mediterranean are today facing many pressures due to social values change and economic stresses; the market of their products is subject to strong competition from cheaper land-produced salt and the world trade. Faced with the need to be economically viable, salinas are confronted with the choice of closing, industrializing the production or changing the business orientation towards sustainable tourism and new artisanal products, already successfully experienced.

DECOST project is looking for staff in Spain!
