AQUACYCLE: calling for a new vision in Lebanon’s water and sanitation sector
Business as usual is simply not an option in Lebanon’s water and sanitation sector. A large percentage of the rural population such as those living in the Akkar plain in North Lebanon face chronic water shortages. To address the difficulties to obtain water on a daily basis for their agricultural activities, the drilling of illegal artesian wells has become the norm.

Call for capitalisation projects: results of the administrative check
The Managing Authority informs the Applicant organisations which have submitted a proposal under the call for capitalisation projects that the administrative check has been concluded. The results, approved by the Project Selection Committee and the Joint Monitoring Committee, are available below.
61 out of the 69 proposals submitted have been admitted to the next phase of quality evaluation.
