In its final stage, four grants with up to 25,000 Euro were given to Start-Ups or SMEs in France that produce eco-innovative products or services that advance more efficient water and energy management in tourism to advance sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean.

In its final stage, seven grants with up to 22,500 Euro were given to Start-Ups or SMEs in Israel that produce eco-innovative products or services that advance more efficient water and energy management in tourism to advance sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean.

Several SMEs and youth from Jordan have benefited from the Cross-Border innovation vouchers which included the cooperation with local research universities that support the environment, circular economy and innovation such as the National University College Of Technology | NUCT. This cooperation has supported the quality and innovation of the products in a sustainable and environmental approach.

In a Mediterranean region facing environmental challenges and growing demand for resources, the NAWAMED project has taken a unique approach to raising awareness and promoting Non-Conventional Water Resources (NCWR). Through a thought-provoking short film entitled “Gocce di Rugiada” (Drop of Dew), the project aims at engaging a wide audience by using the power of cinematic language to highlight the needs behind these alternative approaches.
