On March 2, 2022, after 15 years and 3 legislatures, the bill n. 988 was finally approved: “Provisions for the protection, development and competitiveness of agricultural, agri-food and aquaculture production using organic methods".

This major goal represents a great achievement, since it is a law that contains elements that are indispensable for promoting the ecological transition of Italian agricultural systems.

Another substantial point relates to the establishment of the "Made in Italy bio" brand, which can make it possible to leap in quality to the sector through 100% Italian organic supply chains at the right price. This accomplishment combines the value of the identity of Italian food with that of sustainability given by the organic brand.
