On last February 19th 2020 a coordination meeting with the Head of EU Delegation and Ambassador to Jordan, H.E. Mrs Maria Hadjitheodosiou, at the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) in Jordan was held.

The visit was aimed at discussing the projects’ work plan for the year 2020 in order to identify recommendations that would overcome challenges and increase opportunities for development and modernization of pioneering projects in line with national strategies. Furthermore, the meeting was the occasion for NARC's Director General, Dr. Nizar Haddad, to present and promote "LIVINGAGRO - Cross border Living Laboratories for Agroforestry" project and the other 3️ ENI CBC Med projects which are implemented by NARC as partner, namely:

•  "MENAWARA - Non Conventional Water Re-use in Agriculture in Mediterranean countries" - www.enicbcmed.eu/projects/menawara
•  "HELIOS - Enhancing the social Inclusion of neets" - www.enicbcmed.eu/projects/helios
•  "PROSIM - Promoting Sustainable Irrigation Management and non-conventional water use in the Mediterranean" - www.enicbcmed.eu/projects/prosim

Hadjitheodosiou, valued the role of NARC in managing agricultural projects through efforts in the field of scientific research, along with the scientific position NARC possesses and its ability to attract and implement pioneering projects. She affirmed her support for these projects through which NARC can contribute to the improvement of the agricultural sector.
