RESET is looking for a Sustainable Green and Circular Economy Expert

This position will be a part of the project's communications tasks.

Scope of work

The primary objectives of the Sustainable Green and Circular Economy Expert will be to:

  1. Enabling partners and project beneficiaries to present experiences in two regional/national webinars.
  2. Disseminating RESET’s experiences, results, and lessons learned from partners, project beneficiaries, and stakeholders on a regional level through these webinars.

Deliverables: 

  1. Webinar agendas and plan one week before the agreed-upon webinar dates.
  2. Session material (presentation/ handouts/ etc.) one week before the agreed-upon webinar dates.
  3. Attendance list for each webinar (to be developed in coordination with RESET’s consortium partners, where partners will support the expert in identifying and mapping potential invitees).
  4. Post-webinar report summarizing the outcomes of each webinar, including participant feedback, key takeaways, and actionable recommendations for follow-up action, in English.

Required Qualifications

  1. Expertise in Circular Economy: A proven track record of expertise and hands-on experience in the field of circular economy, particularly in the context of sustainable development, green economy, and entrepreneurship.
  2. Relevant Educational Background: A relevant advanced degree in economics, environmental studies, business administration, or a related field is desirable, complementing the expert's practical experience.
  3. Knowledge of Mediterranean Context: Familiarity with the economic, social, and environmental challenges faced by Mediterranean countries and a sound understanding of the green business landscape in the region.
  4. Training and Facilitation Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building activities for diverse stakeholders, including policymakers and business support organizations.
  5. Cultural Sensitivity: Strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to adapt content and communication styles to suit diverse cultural contexts.
  6. Analytical and Report Writing Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to compile clear and concise reports, summarizing complex information and recommendations.
  7. Time Management and Flexibility: Ability to manage time effectively, adhere to deadlines, and adjust plans as per project requirements.
  8. Familiarity with the Mediterranean region and cross-border cooperation projects is a plus.
