SEACAP 4 SDG project engages 30 Euro-Mediterranean stakeholders in enhancing energy efficiency objectives in buildings

On 26th of January 2022, around 30 participants joined the online meeting organized for presenting the project objectives, activities and the contribution expected from associated partners and advisory committee of SEACAP 4 SDG, in terms of dissemination and information at national and local level on energy efficiency in buildings.

The Associated Partners Committee of the project is composed of 9 Euro - Mediterranean Stakeholders (Universities, Research Centres, Energy Agencies), for preparing the ground for information and dissemination of materials at national level, and 11 Territorial Stakeholders (Regional and Local Authorities), for preparing the ground for dissemination and transfer of outcomes at territorial level.

                                                                                                   

The Advisory Committee is composed by 8 representatives, from Directorate Generale "Energy" of European Union, Programs (Union for Mediterranean and Interreg MED), projects on energy efficiency buildings of different Programs and organizations with the aim to provide know how and guidance for the project implementation.

                                                                         

Both associated partners and advisory committee will support SEACAP 4 SDG project partners in the dissemination activities at national and local level and identifying and suggesting cities for their participation in the capacity building activities scheduled within the project.

During the online meeting was also introduced the Joint Euro - Mediterranean capitalization Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Buildings “Innovation&Impact: Good practices in Energy Efficiency for Buildings in Mediterranean Cities” that will be held on 24th of February 2022 and co-organized by SEACAP 4 SDG, Efficient Buildings (INTERREG Med Programme) and EU funded MeetMED.
