Skills4Sports in Italy provides training in digital communication and marketing in sport for young people

We are happy to present the Digital Communication and Marketing in Sport course. This is the first of three training courses in the project, that Cooperazione Internazionale Sud-Sud (CISS), the Italian partner of Skilss4Sports, will provide, to support young people in finding work in the sports sector throughout the Mediterranean area.

The course lecturers are free and addressed to young people aged between 17 and 30.

On Tuesday 8 November, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m;

On Wednesday 9 November, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m;

On Thursday, 10 November, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The appointment is at via Ponte di Mare 45 - La Casa della Cooperazione - in front of the small harbour Sant'Erasmo Marina.

On Friday 11 November, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., there's something new waiting for you: see you at the Renzo Barbera Stadium in Palermo for a lesson “on the (football) field' and an exclusive visit to the Palermo Museum.

The course Digital Communication and Marketing in Sport ends with a special event: see you on Friday, 18 November at the Casa della Cooperazione at 5.30 p.m. for the presentation of the group work, the meeting with the local sports authorities and the official handover of the certificates.

The course is held by experts from Palermo Innovation Lab and Palermo FC and is divided into 4 modules of 8 hours plus a final presentation.

What will you learn?

New digital marketing and communication skills;

To know and use tools for the creation, management and analysis of digital content;

To structure a communication and marketing strategy and related campaigns;

To understand the objectives and needs of sports clubs and organisations in the field of digital communication and marketing;

To acquire direct experience of how a sports club like Palermo FC manages all these aspects.
