The Municipality of Jounieh (Lebanon), one of SOLE’s partners, is seeking to hire a junior technical expert. 

You will contribute to the energy rehabilitation of a sports facility located in the heart of the city: you will learn more about the market for energy efficiency and renewable energy services, prepare tender documents, provide top notch support in all phases of the pilot site works, from design to evaluation. 

You should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture (masters degrees are a plus) and at least 2 years’ experience in energy related projects. You should have strong management skills, especially for tendering procedures, and proficiency in English.

Most public buildings in the Mediterranean area are energy inefficient as lack of interventions over time have led to increasing annual energy consumption and CO2 emissions. SOLE “High Energy Efficiency for the Public Stock Buildings in Mediterranean”, cofinanced by Programme ENI CBC MED, aims to foster cost-effective and innovative energy rehabilitations of public buildings.
