SOLE will be presented and discussed at SBE22 (Sustainable Built Environment Conference Series) in Sousse, Tunisia, on Oct. 19th 2022.

The conference will take the form of a hybrid event: it will be possible to attend all sessions at École Pluridisciplinaire Internationale, or to follow them online (a link will be shared once the agenda is finalised).

SBE22 Sousse will focus on promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices among public authorities, research organisations and universities in relation to the Objective 3 of the Mediterranean Sustainable Development Strategy 2016-2025 (Planning and managing the sustainable Mediterranean cities).

The conference will be divided into various sessions. SOLE will be featured in session 5, which aims to present the most significant research projects funded by the European Union in the Mediterranean cooperation area addressing the sustainability of the built environment.

A final report will be drafted to describe the status of sustainable development goals in Mediterranean Cities and the necessary actions to be implemented towards their full achievement. The final version of this report will be presented at WSBE23 (World Sustainable Built Environment conference) in Montreal, Canada.
