Looking to improve eco and road safety among truck drivers, the Chamber of Beirut and Mount-Lebanon has kicked off its first free training session at its TECHLOG Trucks Driving Simulators Lab. Five truck drivers participated in the program, which was led by experts from the logistics sector, American University of Beirut, Council of Road Safety and Traffic, and Vehicles Management Authority.

The innovative TECHLOG simulators, based on the Euro Truck Simulator 2 program, provide a realistic and engaging experience for drivers to practice safe driving and enhance their awareness of road safety and environmental requirements. The program includes business management elements, allowing drivers to navigate their articulated trucks in an open world, delivering payloads to designated locations while minimizing damage and meeting time constraints.

The training will continue in the coming months, reaching a wider audience of trucking companies.
