As part of the monitoring of actions of the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIS), as a major player in logistics in Tunisia, partner of the EU-funded TECHLOG project and leader of the Cluster Sfax Logistic, the chamber will has organized a mission to Barcelona on the occasion of the International Logistics Exhibition, which took place from May 31st to June 2nd, 2022 as part of the SIL (Salón Internacional de la logística y de la Manutención de Barcelona), a leading Logistics, Transport, Intra-logistics and Supply Chain Fair of Southern Europe, in its 22nd edition.

The CCIS led a business delegation to Barcelona to visit the International Logistics fair, and has organized a program of meetings and professional visits. This action is part of the national strategy for the development of logistics in Tunisia and its policy of international cooperation in transport. 

On this occasion, Mr. Ridha Fourati, president of the Sfax Chamber of Commerce has promoted the TECHLOG project and its missions especially for the transfer of technology in logistics. He specifically highlighted its critical role in facilitating the transfer of new innovation models and digital training tools that would assist Tunisian workers and operators in the port and transportation fields in carrying out their duties in a smart, safe, and sustainable environment. This mission has also allowed Tunisian operators to strengthen their international network through participation in meetings, conferences and exhibition along with the largest international companies of logistics and transport.
